I Write…
(All glory to God)
There’s no rhyme or reason for the way that I write
For it is by faith and not by my might
That I organize words the way I do
When I write them down, I have to be true
To God, my heart, my mind and my soul
I’ve come to realize that it is my role
I’m God’s instrument and he uses me to
Write words that will settle deep within you
To heal, to encourage, to revitalize
To make you think, to inspire, to open your eyes…
To whatever he has in store for you
Just trying to please him is all that I do
Cause with my obedience I most often find
A story, a play, or poem of some kind
Just waiting there inside my head
To be written and then to be read
By someone like you…
That is the reason I write like I do
I write so that God can bless me and you too.
